It’s hard to believe we have fewer than 10 weeks of school remaining! There is still so much meaningful learning ahead, and we are excited to make the most of this time together.

This week, our students in grades 3–5 will begin the Math MCAS. We are incredibly proud of the effort they showed during the ELA sessions, and we are confident they are just as prepared for math. Our teachers have worked diligently to ensure students feel ready, and we have encouraged them to take their time, show their thinking, and do their very best.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. A good night’s sleep, a positive mindset, and encouragement from home go a long way in helping our students feel confident and successful.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Lisa DiDonato, Principal (ldidonato@framingham.k12.ma.us)

Jackie Carrasquillo, Vice Principal (jcarrasquillo@framingham.k12.ma.us)

Community In Action!

Our 5th grade service project members showed great initiative and pride in their school community by taking the lead on a campus clean-up. Alongside Vice Principal Carrasquillo, they worked to pick up litter on the playground, in the courtyard, and around the surrounding areas. Thank you for your effort and commitment. Great work!

Cameron Chorus and Band Concert

Our 5th grade students walked to Cameron on 4/16/26 to enjoy the 6th-8th graders perform.

Student Cell Phone & Smart Watch Use

Students are not permitted to use cell phones or smartwatches during the school day. We have included smartwatches in this policy because many models now have the ability to text, call, and take photos, just like cell phones. If a student is found using their phone or smartwatch during the day, they will be asked to put it away. If the issue becomes persistent, the device will be held in the office until the end of the day, and caregivers will be notified.

Thank you for your support in helping us minimize distractions and maintain a focused learning environment.

School Goal for 2025-2026

This year, our shared focus at Stapleton is captured in the following student-centered goal:

“As a Stapleton student, I believe in myself and take an active role in my learning.”

Students in grades 3-5 are currently making goals for MCAS and strategies they can use during testing days.
