With daylight saving time beginning and the days getting a little longer, it’s a great reminder that spring is just around the corner! We are looking forward to the warmer weather and all the energy that comes with this time of year. Spring time also means that students in grades 3-5 will be taking the MCAS tests. More information about MCAS is below.

Please note that Thursday will be an early release day for staff professional development. Students will be dismissed at 12:55 PM, and lunch will still be served before dismissal.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Lisa DiDonato, Principal (ldidonato@framingham.k12.ma.us)

Jackie Carrasquillo, Vice Principal (jcarrasquillo@framingham.k12.ma.us)

iNight will take place on Wednesday, March 11th, from 6:00–7:30 PM in the cafeteria at Framingham High School.

Lego Fest

Thank you to all who participated and submitted a creation for voting. The winners will be announced on Monday.

Community Meetings

On Thursday morning we had our community meetings introducing our character trait of the month which is confidence. To model confidence our 5th grade helpers and I tried cup stacking. We didn't give up and kept trying!

Student Cell Phone & Smart Watch Use

Students are not permitted to use cell phones or smartwatches during the school day. We have included smartwatches in this policy because many models now have the ability to text, call, and take photos, just like cell phones. If a student is found using their phone or smartwatch during the day, they will be asked to put it away. If the issue becomes persistent, the device will be held in the office until the end of the day, and caregivers will be notified.

Thank you for your support in helping us minimize distractions and maintain a focused learning environment.

School Goal for 2025-2026

This year, our shared focus at Stapleton is captured in the following student-centered goal:

“As a Stapleton student, I believe in myself and take an active role in my learning.”

Our school goal is announced each morning during morning announcements and is posted in every classroom.
